Situation
Full Disk Encryption policy with pre-boot authentication enabled
has been applied to Dell Latutide 4300 devices
The Dell devices are equipped with different BIOS versions up to version A23
The pre-boot authentication login screen disappears and the user is left at the Novell ZENworks Full Disk Encryption background picture
The device does not boot to Windows
The Dell devices are equipped with different BIOS versions up to version A23

The device does not boot to Windows
Resolution
Not all Dell Latitude E4300 machines are affected, but if this problem is experienced, remove the Dell Latitude E4300 section from the DMI Settings in the
Full Disk Encryption policy so that default values are
assumed.
