ZCM Error: 'Certificate chain contains certificates not trusted by default trust manager.'

Environment

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Installation - Server

Situation

Error: 'Certificate chain contains certificates not trusted by default trust manager.' is seen in the ZMD-MESSAGES.LOG.
 
ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) 11 Primary server last contact date is not getting updated.
 
The file /var/opt/novell/zenworks/zentruststore is a zero (0) byte or otherwise corrupt file on one of the Primary servers.
 
It is not a zero (0) byte file on another Primary server that is not seeing this symptom.

Resolution

Stop the ZCM agent (/etc/init.d/novell-zenworks-xplatzmd stop).
Rename the zero byte /var/opt/novell/zenworks/zentruststore file (e.g.,: mv /var/opt/novell/zenworks/zentruststore oldzentruststore )
Start the ZCM agent (/etc/init.d/novell-zenworks-xplatzmd start).
A new /var/opt/novell/zenworks/zentruststore will be created.
