Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 (OES 11) Linux
Situation
Miggui hangs when option to configure file system data migration is
selected.
Information: ldapsearch command executed as "ldapsearch -LLL -s sub -H ldaps://<server IP address> -x -D "cn=<admin user name>,o=<admin context>""(&(CN=<server DNS name>_*)(objectClass=Volume))" linuxNCPMountPoint -W"
This issue is only seen after installing SLES11 SP1 channel
updates.
The /var/opt/novell/migration/<project
name>/log/debug.log shows the following ldapsearch as the last
command executing at the time of the hang:

Resolution
Bug 737677 was logged for the issue. The problem has been
fixed.
The solution to this problem has publicly been released to the OES11 Update catalogs with the release of the "April 2012 OES11 Hot Patch - 5809".
Fixes for reported problems are constantly being released to the public with Novell's bi-monthly patch releases, therefor please make sure OES11 servers are fully patched before performing a migration.
