Environment

Novell Client 4.91 SP2 for Windows XP/2003
Novell Client 2 SP2 for Windows 7 (IR5)
Open Enterprise Server 11 SP1

Situation

Total free space is being incorrectly displayed for volumes >16 Terabytes.

For example, a workstation running the Novell Client and connected to an OES2 SP1 Linux (64-bit) server with a mounted 20TB volume using an XFS filesystem. While the local server displays the large capacity filesystem statistics correctly, the workstation shows only about 3TB via the Novell Client.

Additional Information

Resolving this problem will require changes to both the OES Server and the Novell Client. Bug reports have been logged for the necessary changes on both the server and workstation components.
