SecureLogin launches unexpectedly at Windows startup

NetIQ SecureLogin


SecureLogin launches when Windows is started, even when not desired.
NSL was installed using a response.ini file.
Install option was chosen to not launch SecureLogin on Windows startup. 
Box to “Start SecureLogin on windows startup” was unchecked in the installation options.
SecureLogin does not launch at startup on the workstation where the response.ini file was created.
SecureLogin does launch at startup on workstation where it was installed using the response.ini file.


1. On workstations that have the problem, edit the registry and delete the SecureLogin or !!SecureLogin entry from the run key.  Delete the entire entry pointing to C:\Program Files\Novell\SecureLogin\slproto.exe.  Depending on the operating system this will be in either of the following two locations:


2. Before using the response.ini file to install SecureLogin on additional workstations, edit the response.ini file to change the line that says
