Situation

Error on an cancel when authentication is done with an NMAS method.
NMAS Login Failed Return Code: -1642
Login Failed

Resolution

Fixed in the Novell Client 4.9 SP2 for Windows NT/2000/XP.

Additional Information

This problem is seen with the following methods:
NDS, Simple Password, Enhanced Password, Advanced x.509 and the Universal Smart Card method
Steps to duplicate:

On the Novell Login screen select an NMAS method and specify the name of the user to authenticate with.
Hit ok to get to the password screen or pin question.
Hit Cancel.
Error message will show
