Cannot change the IP address of the Access Manager appliance

Environment

NetIQ Access Manager 3.2
NetIQ Access Manager Appliance

Situation

Access Manager appliance setup and working fine ie. users can access protected resources behind the Access Gateway (AG) proxy after successfully authenticating to the Identity (IDP) Server. Administrator needs to move the appliance to another subnet, and therefor needs to change the IP address of the appliance. Is this an option or must admin re-install the box.

Resolution

CHanging the IP address of the Admin Console is an unsupported operation at the moment. If the appliance needs to be moved from one subnet to another, the best option is to re-install the appliance with the new IP address from the other subnet and configure the proxy services again.
