ADF is not accepting data over 5 characters

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.1
Novell ZENworks Asset Management 11.1
Situation
When data with more than 5 characters is entered into an Administrator Defined Field (ADF) the error is returned that the field does not allow more than 5 characters. However, the ADF was configured as Character type allowing up to 20 characters.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.2.1 - see TID 7010042 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at http://www.novell.com/support/search.do?usemicrosite=true&searchString=7010042
