Cannot connect on port 3725 and job stuck creating snapshot

The resolution for this issue is to reboot the source workload.
If rebooting doesn't resolve the issue with the replication, it should still allow "vssadmin list writers" to complete; this information can be used to determine the status of VSS on the source. If errors continue, it may be necessary to contact Microsoft for assistance in resolving VSS issues before the replication can continue successfully.
