CAS_PublicFolderAvailability failes when trying to access public folder

An event is genereated within AppManager displaying the following:
"Can't log on to the Exchange Mailbox server 'mailserver01.tbd.corp. No existing 'PublicFolder' matches the following Identity: '\'. Make sure that you specified the correct 'PublicFolder' Identity and that you have the necessary permissions to view 'PublicFolder'.."
This error can also be seen while running the Get-PublicFolders command from a Microsoft Powershell command prompt.


Ensure that the public folder is not marked as legacy within Exchange 2010, and if this was an upgrade that it existed in Exchange 2003. You may also need to recreate the public folder within Exchange.
