Upgrade freezes at Test Internet Connection

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 (OES 11) Linux
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 1

Situation

Customer has modified /etc/X11/xorg.conf as described in:
TID 7003097 Enabling VNC Server on startup of the X server with SLE 11

Resolution

1. Revert the changes made to xorg.conf to complete the upgrade. 

2. Apply outstanding SLES11-SP1 patches to resolve the issue.

3. Your modified xorg.conf can be used once again after applying SLES11-SP1 patches.

Cause

There is a bug in the VNC Server module included on the SLES11-SP1 media that causes the display to freeze.

This has been reported to engineering.
