SSLVPN does not work when installed on a Windows 8 workstation

Environment

NetIQ Access Manager 3.2
NetIQ Access Manager 3.2 SSLVPN server
Windows 8 workstation

Situation

When running NetIQ's SSLVPN server, all users connecting to that server from Windows 7 and XP have no problems connecting and accessing protected resources behind that SSLVPN server. Users trying to connect from Windows 8 workstations however are failing - the authentication succeeds but the SSLVPN tunnel never comes up.

Resolution

There is no plan to support Windows 8 platform with the NetIQ Access Manager SSLVPN.
