Can not create printer in iManager

Environment

Novell iPrint for Linux Open Enterprise Server Support Pack 2 Print Manager

Situation

When trying to create a printer in iManager, the following error is displayed:

"You have insufficient rights for this task.
You need 'create' rights to the container where the NDS object is being created.
You need to be a manager of the selected print manager. "

Resolution

Edit /etc/opt/novell/iprint/conf/ipsmd.conf and change the DSServer1 entry to a server with a ds replica.

Cause

Server was migrated from Netware to Linux and migration went well but the DSServer1 value used for the migration was pointing to a nonexistent ds server hence user rights could not be validated.
