Error restoring server

Environment

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2

Situation

Error when restoring ZENworks primary server per disaster recovery:

ERROR (from zman.log):

[ZMan] [1] [] [Restoring file conf/loader/AddPatchlinkAnalyzeReporting.xml] [] []

[ZMan] [1] [] [Error:Failed to restore the configuration files. Ensure that the backed-up file and the passphrase

specified are valid and correct. Also, ensure that you have the write permission to /etc/opt/novell/zenworks directory on Linux and <Installation directory>:\NovellZENworks\conf on Windows.] [] []

Caused by: com.novell.zenworks.zman.exceptions.ZManException:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files

(x86)\Novell\ZENworks\conf\loader\AddPatchlinkAnalyzeReporting.xml (Access is

denied)

com.novell.zenworks.zman.commands.ZENServerHandler.restoreZENServer(ZENServerHandler.java:285)

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files

(x86)\Novell\ZENworks\conf\loader\AddPatchlinkAnalyzeReporting.xml (Access is

denied)

Resolution

Workaround: Set read/write attribute on AddPatchlinkAnalyzeReporting.xml.
