Situation

Purpose
How to delete a connector from latest build of Mobility Pack
How to delete flatfile connector from Mobility Pack
 
Symptom
Unable to delete an extra connector after upgrading to Mobility Pack 1.2.5 or later
Unable to delete flatfile connector

Resolution

  1. Download and extract remove.sh from the following link
    ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/remove.tgz
  2. Copy the extracted remove.sh to /opt/novell/datasync on the Mobility Server
  3. Login to WebAdmin and note the name of the connector that needs to be deleted including the case
  4. Edit /opt/novell/datasync/remove.sh and change the word flatfile to the name of the connector that is to be deleted. Please make sure to match the case of the connector as noted in Step 3.
  5. Save the file and type /opt/novell/datasync/remove.sh
