Unable to save photo after it is rotated

Environment

Novell Client 2 SP2 for Windows 7 (IR5)
Windows Photo Viewer

Situation

When accessing a picture on a Novell network volume with the Windows Photo Viewer, the photo cannot be saved when rotating it.

The error returned is:

"Windows Photo Viewer can't save the changes to this picture because the file isn't available. The picture might have been deleted or you might have lost your network connection"

The problem does not exist with Windows XP and the 4.91 Novell Client.
