User logs in through task bar icon

Policy settings to be applied during user login like DLU, Roaming Profile or Group Policy are not effective.

Resolution

This is working as designed.

Cause

This is done to prevent undesired behavior like enforcing a Windows user log off trying to get policy settings effective or only having Group Policy settings partly applied.

Additional Information

On next ZCM agent refresh after the manual login, such policies are still getting applied as much as possible likely causing such effects like enforcing Windows user log off or only partly effective group policy settings.
