Error 34 Trying To Import Users Into Vibe From LDAP

Novell Vibe OnPrem 3

Trying to import users from LDAP and Vibe returns an error 34.
Some users already existed in Vibe that were imported from OES.

Delete all the users from Vibe and reimport them from LDAP.
The users can be deleted from the following location in the vibe administrator:

Log in to Vibe as the Vibe administrator.

  1. Click the Administrator link in the upper right corner of the page, then click the Administration Console icon Novell Teaming pre-login user workspace.

  2. In the Management section, click User Accounts.

  3. Click the Disable/Delete Accounts tab.

  4. Click Disable Individual Accounts.

  5. In the User field, begin typing the name of the user whose account you want to delete, then click the name when it appears in the drop-down list.

  6. (Optional) Repeat Step 6 to add other accounts to be deleted.

  7. Click Delete Selected Accounts, then click Close.

The users that were imported previously from OES didn't seem to have a UID. This seemed to prevent new users with a UID from being imported from LDAP.
