Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2

The ZCM zone is configured for an external certificate authority and server certificates needs to be updated.
The command novell-zenworks-configure -z -c SSL gets executed to update the external signed certificate on a primary server.

Following the prompts given by above command, the tool keeps going back to the request to insert the path to the private key file.

This is fixed in version 11.3 - see TID 7014213 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at

On the first server being updated with the new external signed certificate, it is necessary to answer the question
Is this the Primary server with CA Role in your ZENworks Zone?
1-(*) Yes
2-( ) No

with Yes and follow the steps.

Additional Information

More information about updating an external signed server certificate is available at Reconfiguring a Zone Certificate Before It Expires in ZENworks 11 SP2 or Reconfiguring a Zone Certificate Before It Expires in ZENworks 11 SP3 online documentation.
