New files are not displayed in Windows Explorer

Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows
When saving a new file on a mapped drive, the file does not immediately appear in Windows Explorer.
Manually refresh the view by pressing F5 or, right click and press "Refresh".
This feature, known as "change notification" allows applications to register to be notified when specific criteria changes for a specific path and/or an entire file system directory branch. But change notification isn't supported in the Novell Client for Windows is because the NCP protocol does not make any provision for registering a similar change notification request with the NCP server.
In some cases, the view is immediately refreshed when new files are created, due to the way activity of the specific application creating the file. An example is MS Paint, which performs operations on a file after it is created, resulting in the display refresh.
