Situation

User is not able to login to the Policy Editor using LDAP Authentication after installation.
LDAP Authentication fails after custom installation.
LDAP Authentication fails after custom configuration.  

Resolution

LDAP authentication has been removed as a selection from the product upgrade for Change Guardian 4.0.1, however it is still available for new installations.  If the custom option is selected during a new installation the LDAP configuration option will appear and allow configuration.  If this is done the Authentication will not work successfully resulting in errors in the Policy Editor.

Cause

The LDAP Authentication option has an issue in the current version of the product that cannot be bypassed.  The issue will be resolved in a later release of the Change Guardian product.
