Situation
NetWare Server is running as an iSCSI Initiator
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 is an iSCSI Target
NetWare Server connects successfully to targets on SLES 11 server
As soon as mirroring starts on NetWare server, the iSCSI target device deactivates and is no longer available.
Resolution
On the OES11 SP2 server, edit /etc/ietd.conf. Add the following line to the file (after the Target line, and before the LUN line) :
MaxRecvDataSegmentLength 32768
Restart the OES 11 server, or just restart the iSCSI Target service.
Execute iscsinit connect <target IP address> on the NetWare server
The failed mirror should automatically start where it left off
Cause
There was a change in the iSCSI target software between OES 11 SP1 and OES 11 SP2
