Jr. Admins be able to change GroupWise password only

Situation

Group of Administrators to only have GW password change rights for other users
 

Resolution

  1. Login as Admin with supervisor rights to ConsoleOne
  2. Create a group named JrAdmins
  3. Add members to the group
  4. Make the JrAdmins group a Trustee of the Organization or Organization Unit where the users reside
    • right click on the O or OU and select "Trustees of this Object"
    • select "Add Trustee"
    • browse and select "JrAdmins" group
  5. Click "Add Property"
    • Check "Show all properties"
    • Select "NGW: Account ID" and click "OK"
    • Check "Write" rights
    • Check "Inheritable"
  6. Click "Add Property"
    • Check "Show all properties"
    • Select "NGW: File ID" and click "OK"
    • Check "Write" rights
    • Check "Inheritable"
  7. Click "Add Property"
    • Check "Show all properties"
    • Select "NGW: GroupWise ID" and click "OK"
    • Check "Write" rights
    • Check "Inheritable"
  8. Click "Apply" and "OK"
  9. Exit ConsoleOne and Login as one of the Jr. Admin to test
