How to export the iPrint Appliance configuration

The iPrint Appliance configuration files can be exported as a .zip file for use as a backup in case of system failure, to simplify the configuration of another iPrint Appliance, or for use in troubleshooting problems.

1. Open the iPrint Appliance Management Console.

https://<ipaddress or DNS name of the iPrint Appliance>:9443

Note: This is an https: address, not an http: address.

2. Login using the vaadmin or root account.

3. Select the "iPrint Admin Configuration" management tool by pressing the icon button.



4. Select the "Export Configuration" item from the "Administration" menu on the left.



5. Enter the eDirectory administrator password, then click the "Export" button.

The iprintconfig.zip file will be saved in the default location defined for your browser.
