This hotfix resolves specific previous issues. This document outlines why you should install this hotfix.

Incremental Accounts Cache Refresh Incorrectly Reported as Failed

Incremental Accounts Cache Refresh Incorrectly Reported as Failed
DRA no longer incorrectly reports successful incremental or full account cache refreshes as failed. (ENG331312)

Service Account Is Not a Member of a Windows Admin Group of One or More Domains
Issue:
 After adding a managed domain, DRA displays an error that the DRA Service Account is not a member of a Windows administration group for one or more domains. (ENG331179)
 
Fix:
 This error displays as a result of a cache loader driver running on a FIPS compliant server. After you install this hotfix, the cache loader ignores FIPS and DRA correctly recognizes the Service Account's membership.
 

System Requirements
This hotfix requires NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator 8.7.


Installing This Hotfix
To install this hotfix, close all DRA consoles and run the DRA87000_Hotfix7013429.EXE from the hotfix installation folder on each Administration server and DRA client computer.


Verifying the Installation
Complete the following steps to verify that the installation was successful.

To check the installed version:

Log on to the Administration server computer with a local administrator account.
Open the DRA console.
Click Help > About > Version.

Under Console Hotfixes, verify that the version number is 7013429.

Under Server Hotfixes, verify that the version number is 7013429.

Issue Applying Hotfix 7013429 In Environments Where Reporting Components are Installed
Issue:
 When you attempt to apply this hotfix in an environment with DRA Reporting Components installed, the DRA 8.7 hotfix installer does not update the SQL Server schema to support Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1.
 
Workaround:
 Perform the following steps:  Note
Ensure you have completed the steps for upgrading the DRA Reporting Components to the 8.7 version located in the DRA 8.7 Installation Guide.
 


Upgrade DRA to DRA 8.7 Hotfix 7013429.
Log in as the DRA administrator account and open the Delegation and Configuration console.
Select Configuration Management and select Update Reporting Service Configuration... in the right pane. In the Reporting Service Configuration wizard, clear Enable Reporting support and click Apply.
Restart the NetIQ DRA Administration service and NetIQ Core Service.
Select Enable DRA Reporting support and click OK.
