Situation

Can not launch Feature Provisioning Wizard to configure Sites and Subnets
Can not launch Feature Provisioning Wizard to configure WINS
'Feature Provisioning Wizard' fails to launch after migration
How to start the Feature Provisioning Wizard manually

Resolution

Change the value of variable LAUNCH_CONFIG_WIZARD value from NO to YES in the /etc/opt/novell/xad/xad.ini.


Then execute the script /opt/novell/xad/sbin/provision_dsfw.sh to launch the "Feature Configuration Wizard".

Additional Information

Wins can be configured by adding wins support = yes in the Global section in the /etc/samba/smb.conf.
Only one server per network can be a wins server.
