Novell ZENworks Mobile Management 2.9.1

Situation

iPad Mini device fails to register.

The German language error message displayed on the to be registered device is:
"...
Verbindung zu Server fehlgeschlagen
..."

Resolution

Please open a Service Request with Novell Technical Support for assistance on correcting the iOSModelLookup table.

Cause

Checking the iOSModelLookup table in the ZMM MS SQL database reveals that there are duplicate entries with same value for the ProductName column.

Additional Information

A ZMM server automatically synchronizes device model information with the registration server at Novell.
