Situation
Error -426 "Sys variable not available"
?Sysuser and ?Syspassword variables don't work after logging in to network through wi-fi
Problem occurs if users login to the network through the Novell Client (Red N) icon in the system tray after the Windows desktop has been built
Problem does not occur if user user has previously logged to the network at Windows startup

Resolution
Workaround:
Login to the network at boot up / Windows startup at least once.
System credentials will them be cached (actually written to the directory as hidden credentials) and will be available after future Red N logins.
