NetIQ Identity Manager Roles Based Provisioning Module 4.5

Situation

Changing the "NETIQ_TOMCAT_USER=novlua" to a differnt user in tomcat.install.properties and postgresql.configure.properties does not change which service account tomcat is running as.

Resolution

Changing the user after install is possible.

Cause

tomcat.install.properties and postgresql.configure.properties incorrectly states:

# For root installs, you should populate this field
# with the user that you want to run Tomcat.
# For security reasons, Tomcat should NOT be installed
# as root
NETIQ_TOMCAT_USER=novlua


The install will ignore this, and this information will be removed in an upcoming release.
