Unable to add users with GroupWise provisioning

Environment

Unable to find any users when searching them with GroupWise instead of LDAP

Resolution

When users cannot be found from GroupWise provisioning, it is because the Global Address Book Lookup is not working properly.  The GAL may need to be recreated.

  1. Make sure that a valid GroupWise user is configured in Config | Device | Address Book User
  2. Follow the steps to recreate the GAL here
  3. If the users are still not being found when searching for GroupWise users, please run /opt/novell/datasync/update.sh
