NetIQ Security Manager 6.5.4

Situation

How to manually recreate missing maintenance plans in SQL.
Maintenance plans missing after migration of SQL.
SQL jobs fialing due to missing maintenance plans.
OnePointCheckIntegrity
OnePointReindex

Resolution

To recreate the Maintenance Plan - onePointCheckIntegrity manually.

1)  Log into SQL Management Studio with an account that has SA rights.
2)  Expand Management
3)  Expand Maintenance Plans
4)  Right-click on Maintenance Plans
5)  Select New Maintenance Plan
6)  For the Name, type OnePointCheckIntegrity and click OK.
7)  Drag the maintence plan task Check Database Integrity Task to the yellow pane on the right.
8)  Right-click the new Check Database Integrity Task
9)  Select Edit.
10) Leave the connection set to Local server connection
11) Set the Database to Onepoint.
12) Make sure the Include Indexes is checked.
13) click OK.
14) Click File, Save Selected Items.
15) click Close.

To recreate the Maintenance Plan - onePointReindex manually.

1)  Log into SQL Management Studio with an account that has SA rights.
2)  Expand Management
3)  Expand Maintenance Plans
4)  Right-click on Maintenance Plans
5)  Select New Maintenance Plan
6)  For the Name, type OnePointReindex and click OK.
7)  Drag the maintence plan task Rebuild Index Task to the yellow pane on the right.
8)  Right-click the new Rebuild Index Task
9)  Select Edit.
10) Leave the connection set to Local server connection
11) Set the Database to Onepoint.
12) Make sure the Keep Index online while reindexing is checked.
13) click OK.
14) Click File, Save Selected Items.
15) click Close.

Cause

This can be caused by incorrect permissions on the account used during the migration of the database.
