User is not prompted to change their expired password in User Console (MyAccess)

Environment

NetIQ Privileged Account Manager
NetIQ Privileged User Manager

Situation

In the User Console (MyAccess), the user is not prompted to change their expired password
In the Framework Manager Console, the user is prompted to change their expired password
User has an expired password
User attempts to login via the MyAccess portal (i.e. https://<IP address of the Framework Manager>/myaccess)
After clicking or selecting Login, the user is informed: Password has expired
User is not prompted to Enter New Password

Resolution

The following are two available workarounds:
  1. The user can login to the Administration Console, which will prompt the user to Enter New Password.
  2. A Help Desk user can change the user's expired password. For more information, please see Configuring a Help Desk Group.
