Situation

Windows 2008 x64 - Stop 7B error when performing a P2P conversion
Problem of Stop error is caused by microsoft hotfix (Hotfix KB 976373).

His issue can be caused by Microsoft Hotfix KB 976373 being installed on the source workload. Microsoft has released another Hotfix KB 950772 that needs to be applied for migration to succeed.

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1) Either Uninstall the Hotfix KB 976373 from source machine and try the migration again.

2) Or install Hotfix KB 950772 and try the migration.
