Situation
Running GW Install icon on SLES 12 SP1 desktop errors out
trying to create a new domain
GW = 14.2.1
OS = SLES 12 SP1
Error at end of new Domain Install = * Unable to add secondary
domain ()
Primary domain sees this new domain as not running, but new
secondary domain sees itself as running.
It gets worse if you also try to install a new GWIA with the
new secondary domain, the root domain DC files do not get copied
and the /wpoffice/ngwguard.dc does not get copied. And the
Primary domain only gets informed on the new secondary domain and
not the new GWIA gateway.
Resolution
This has been reported to engineering.
The workaround to this issue is to create the domain under
Domains, New, Domain.
