Situation
When opening the Protect or Forge web interface, it doesn't display.
When browsing to the web interface, one of the following messages may display.
"This page can’t be displayed"
"The page isn’t redirecting properly"
Resolution
Disable FIPS on the Protect or Forge server.
Cause
FIPS is not yet supported in Protect and/or Forge.
Additional Information
On the Protect or Forge server with FIPS enabled, navigating to http(s)://localhost/platespinconfiguration displays the message ERROR: "implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms".
To determine if FIPS is enabled on the Protect or Forge server, open Local Security Policy->Local Policies->Security Options and look for the setting "System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing".
