Situation
You have configured Exchange account on S8 device but cannot sync
mails. In a mobility-agent log you will see that device
periodically changes between ActiveSync protocol 14.1 and 16.0 but
does not sync any mails. Syncing the same GMS account on any other
device works fine.
Resolution
This is a bug on Samsung S8 devices. The GMS workaround fix for this issue
is in GMS 18.0.1 build 270 or later
