Filr Android app cannot upload multiple photos, error "no data stream or file available"

Situation

Using the Filr 3.4 app on Android one cannot upload multiple pictures at once.
It is however possible to upload a single picture at the time.

When attempting to upload multiple pictures at one, an error "no data steam or file available" is displayed.

Resolution

An updated Filr app has been made available via the Google Play Store.
