Situation

No settings defined show up on any GPOs in the GP Explorer node or the repository

The fa_gps_ad_attributes and fa_gps_gpo_summary tables are present but empty in the GP_STUDIO database

Resolution

To resolve this issue, run GPStudioDBSetUp.bat to add the missing entries to the FA_GP_STUDIO.fa_gp_components table.

Cause

This can occur after a new installation or an upgrade from a previous version  if the FA_GP_STUDIO.fa_gp_components table is either empty or incomplete. That table maps the report sections to the GUIDs of the COM components that are supposed to process those settings. If it's empty, no settings will show up in the report. The batch file used to fix that problem is called "C:\Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\Common\Bin\GPStudioDBSetUp.bat".
