ZCC prompts for Asset Inventory for UNIX and Asset Management licenses when evaluation period expires

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

After the 60 days evaluation period for ZCM expires, when starting ZENworks Control Center a message is displayed, telling you that the ZENworks Asset Management and ZENworks Asset Inventory for Unix evaluations have expired, and you should enter a license.
This occurs, even if you are licensed for the main ZENworks Configuration Management product, unless you have entered a valid license for ZENworks Asset Management and ZENworks Asset Inventory for Unix.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.0.3.2 - see KB 7000756 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management HotFix 10.0.3.2" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

Obviously not everyone wants or needs to deploy Asset Inventory for UNIX and Asset Management.
The functionality of ZENworks 10 Configuration Management is not affected by this problem, but Novell recognises that it is not desired behavior.
