Situation

Customers could be faced with various problems during a synchronization of any mobile device when using the Intellisync client via a cradle or any USB device.

Resolution

This has been officially announced by the Nokia:
"Our management has decided to remove support for cradled synchronization in subsequent versions of IMS after IMS 8.0.0."
Although originally Nokia dropped a cradle / USB synchronization also in a present IMS 8.0.0 version - shipped with GMS2 SP1 - it has been reconsidered by their management and this alternate synchronization method is still under their support.

Additional Information

Please note that the Intellisync Mobile Suite supports Palm devices with an OS version of 3.5 or above and have at least 4MB of RAM. Palm devices with 2MB of RAM are not supported.
