Situation
After upgrading Novell Open Enterprise Server Support Pack 2
(NetWare based) or Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 5 to Support
Pack 6 all partitions available over iSCSI or a Fiber Channel lost
their "Shareable for Clustering" flag.
When trying to re-flag the partitions using F6 in NSSMU
after a warning message a "20896 cluster sharing violation"
error appears.
The cluster itself is manageable, but no partitions can be
expanded.
Resolution
The actual issue is the flag "Shareable for Clustering" is
set, but not visible.
A new MM.NLM, dated November 17th 2006, or later solves
this.
