Situation
The LDAP search via /Contacts/"Name begins with" does not work
The auto completion in the "To" Field does not work
If the LDAP server name is replaced by the IP Addrss both works after the reboot of the system
Also the the LDAP search is very slow compared with Thunderbird
The LDAP search works only two or three times

Steps to duplicate:
After the configuration of evolution , run the following commands:
# evolution --force-shutdown
# gconftool-2 --shutdown
sending and receiving mails work fine without problems
But the search via /Contacts/"Name begins with" does not work
But it works after the reboot of hte system . The reboot of the system should not be necessary
After the reboot, the search via /Contacts/"Name begins with " works
