Situation

Subscribing to service

ERROR: Array index is out of range

Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

The problem is due to a trailing space when the service subscription was made, e.g.,

rug sa -t zypp 'http://dist.blr.novell.com/sled10/SLED-10-SP1-RC5/i386/' 'SLED10-SP1 '

Note the trailing space after SLED10-SP1

This is an example of what you may see:
