Build number mismatch for kernel-source package

This document (7003065) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11

Situation

The kernel-source RPM package for the Linux kernel update with the version 2.6.27.21-0.1.2 has the build number 0.1.1.

Resolution

This was caused by a glitch in the numbering scheme of the package build process. The Linux kernel with build number 0.1.2 was indeed built from the kernel source package with build number 0.1.1.
