Situation

Server Abends with CPU Hog Abend in NSSMPK_LockNss when restoring image

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 4, see KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

This was caused by incorrect processing of a corrupt image file. Although it only causes an Abend on NetWare, a similar issue was possible on Windows and Linux.
