After applying SP6, commands starting with GW return DEBUG DISPLAY

Situation

After applying Support Pack 6 for NetWare 6.5, any command typed at the NetWare server console starting with gw will return the NDPS Gateway Debug Display options:

GW DEBUG DISPLAY = [OFF | OPTIONS]
Options: +- SNMP
+-File
FILE SIZE LIMIT=
FILE RESTART

Resolution

Apply NDPSGW.NLM dated 16NOV2006 or later. Search Novell's File Finder for this file.

Workaround 1:
Type the full path to the intended command, for example: sys:\system\gwia.ncf

Workaround 2:
Back rev NDPSGW.NLM to the version prior to Support Pack 6.
a. Unload NDPSM.NLM
b. Make a copy of SYS:\SYSTEM\NDPSGW.NLM
c. Copy an older version of NDPSGW.NLM to the server's SYS:\SYSTEM
d. Load NDPSM.NLM

Cause:
NDPSGW.NLM from NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 6 intercepts all commands starting with gw. The intent was to intercept commands starting with gw followed by a space.
