Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management
Situation
In some cases when the primaries are up but slow to respond, agent logins are unnecessarily slow due to not using cached settings.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Cause
The cause of the primary servers' non responsiveness should be analysed and corrected. The fix discussed here is for the agents to login more quickly despite failing primary servers.
