ZCM managed agent login error

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1

Situation

Trying to login to ZENworks agent login:
 
ERROR: "Unable to log into the network because the Cached login information is not available "

Resolution

Check that the ZENworks server is resolvable in DNS forward and reverse lookup.

Additional Information

This error can indicate that the server is unavailable for the registeruser request and this user is not cached (never logged in before).
 
Note that in this case, this is not a casa error.  Casa service is responding port 2645 requests as verified by zmd-messages.log or casaauthtoken.log.  The call to ZENIsServerAvailable resolves to the configured https port on the ZENworks ZCM server.
