SP1 Remote Management
Situation
Initiating a remote control session, the remote control dialog
disappears.
The Remote Management feature is disabled: in ZCC > Configuration > Device Management > ZENworks Agent > Remote Management is disabled.

Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks
Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of
fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
With ZCM 11.2 or later, a message will be displayed "Remote Management option is disabled on the selected device"
Workaround:
Enable the Remote Management feature in ZCC > Configuration > Device Management > ZENworks Agent > Remote Management

Cause
Remote Management was disabled, so the Remote Management session could not be started, but no message was displayed to inform the operator.
