ZRS Reporting service sometimes fails with license exceeded error

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2 Business Objects Reporting

Situation

Non Super Administrators sometimes can't launch ZRS.

Resolution

ZCC InfoView users must logout from reporting session by clicking on the logout button in InfoView before closing the InfoView browser window or tab.  Otherwise the connection to the ZRS server will remain open and consume a license.
 
Logging out from the InfoView window or tab prevents the error.  If the error is already occurring, restarting the ZRS reporting services and ZENworks server services should fix the problem. 
 
On Windows use the Central Configuration Manager (CCM) to restart the services.  For more information about the Central Configuration Manager, please see the documentation.
On Linux, use:
/etc/init.d/BobjEnterprise120 service (stop and start )
 
Also use novell-zenworks-configure -c Start
 
There are some cases for which connections are not closed under heavy use or changes in ZCC especially with more than one primary in the zone.  In these cases the ZRS services must be restarted.
